Our Approach
Our initial approach to grantmaking focuses primarily on organizations across the United States, prioritizing projects that serve groups of animals historically neglected by philanthropy or where our investment can have an immediate impact on growing organizations. As we explore partnerships and identify effective strategies, the fund will emphasize collaboration and learning. In addition to providing financial support, our advisors can assist interested grantees navigating nonprofit operations challenges. Funds directed to organizations with plans to build capacity for self-sustaining revenue streams will be carefully considered. The majority of grantmaking will occur during the first quarter of the calendar year to assist organizations with budgeting. An additional fund will be available on a rolling basis for emergency requests and special projects.
In 2026, applicants are encouraged to submit proposals up to $25,000.
